Project Team
The Battery Park City Resiliency Project team is a joint venture of Turner Construction Co. and E.E. Cruz & Co. Inc. with Arcadis, Bjarke Ingels Group, Scape Landscape Architecture, WSP Construction, and Johnson & Asberry Communicaitons . The Battery Park City Resiliency Project is comprised of industry leaders and resiliency construction experts. These organizations are actively working to ensure the project's development will proceed smoothly and provide a positive impact for Battery Park City residents.


Michael Ryan
Community Construction Liaison
Michael Ryan, a dedicated young professional with a strong passion for public service and community engagement, serves as the Community Construction Liaison for the Battery Park City Resiliency Project at Johnson & Asberry. In this role, he acts as a bridge between the project team and the community, offering insight, fostering engagement, and supporting the successful development of the project. Michael brings to the role valuable experience from his time with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, where he supported both the facility oversight and legal departments.
After relocating to New York City, Michael joined the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. In his roles as Special Projects Coordinator and later as Membership Manager, he worked closely with local businesses—connecting them to vital chamber resources and delivering personalized technical assistance through a variety of BCC programs.
Michael holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from Nazareth College, graduating in 2020.
